The Letter That Missed the Post

We kept noticing the same thing in the room: the heaviest thing a person carried was usually something they never said, to someone they could not say it to. So we made somewhere to put it.

You write the letter you never sent. You decide if anyone ever reads it. That is the whole thing. There is no account, no name, and nothing here is trying to sell you therapy.

On 10 September, the day the world stops to talk about the people it lost, we will show you what was left here. Not names. Not diagnoses. Just the things people finally said.

If you want to look under it

How this works, plainly.

We are trying to understand one quiet question: what do people leave unsaid, and to whom. This is not to identify, vilify or judge individuals, but only to understand patterns and themes. Anything that is published is read and de-identified by us. You can delete your letter at anytime via a secure link sent to you.
This is not a crisis service, and we say so everywhere. If a letter suggests someone is in danger, it does not go to the public collection, it is not turned into a share card, and it is routed to a person rather than a machine, alongside the help lines above. A human reviews everything before it is ever public. Some things are difficult but still needs to be shared. We understand that and hold that space. We publish it, if you're okay with publishing it.
Because the work and the project are the same belief: that the things we do not say do not disappear. They slowly steep, and giving it a voice is where a lot of relief starts. Fenweh brings the psychological care and the boundaries. The project stays a project. It does not pretend to be treatment.
Required: the letter, and what you choose to happen to it. Optional, only if you tap them: a rough age, whether you are in India or abroad. That is the whole list. We never ask who you are: there is no account, no name field and no email anywhere on this page, so there is nothing to withhold. The name you typed at the very start is the person you are writing to, not you, and it never leaves your device.
